Love the Soups. They let you sample soups before you order it. I had Lemon Basil Chicken, excellent. Sandwiches are less desirable and fewer choices. Salads sound good, but I didn't have one. Like healthier options.

Zero if possible. The customer service was terrible. They had one person putting orders together and running the till, one making sandwiches /salads while one just stood there not doing anything. At one point they had several orders just sitting on the back counter getting cold. I was also concerned about the lack of gloves used and question the sanitation after seeing them clean tables and handling money and not washing their hands before touching the food. Very doubtful we'll be returning unless things get changed.

I had the chicken pot pie soup and the chicken Toscana sandwich. Both were good. Soup had a thick broth and the chicken was cooked through. The sandwich was a little more bread then meat but the bread was fresh and the flavor of the sandwich was good.

I had the tomato bisque soup and Greek salad wrap and enjoyed both of them. I love that you have the option to sample any of the soups before you decide. My son who hasn't been enjoying much lately really ejoyed the chili also. I will be back.

Zoup! has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Sioux Falls. I am on the track to lose weight by counting calories and this is one of very VERY few restaurants in town where I can feel 100% full for a minimal number of calories. I always check their site before I go so I can look at nutrition info to make a good decision. They have so many great soups, and they rotate daily. They allow you to sample their different soups, and I have yet to sample one I don't like. Personal recommendations: Italian Wedding Mexican Chicken Macaroni and Cheese (NOT a low cal option, however an 8 oz portion is only 370 calories) Spicy Crab & Rice Lemon Caper Tuna half sandwich. Fiance recommends: Lobster bisque (he gets it every time.) TL;DR: LOVE Zoup!

I would give zero if possible. The soup was lukewarm and wouldn't have been that good if warm. I had half sandwich and chicken pot pie soup. Ordered my sandwich without onions it came with onions but not the tomatoes it was suppose to have. Food was not good and expensive. Go elsewhere

Finally, a unique restaurant in Sioux Falls. Soup as a meal might seem initially "unfulfilling" but when it tastes this good it will definitely hit hit the spot. Also, very reasonably not only on the wallet but also on the waist line. Some of the soups are low calorie without being low on taste.

We placed a to-go order (for 10) through zoup.com at 10:15am. We set a pick-up time for 11:45 AM. I arrived at 11:40 AM on behalf of my colleagues to pick-up and was told "we just got the order and it would be about 5 minutes before we would be able to start on your order". Not sure what "just" meant, since it was over an hour since we placed our order online. But I figured, a few extra minutes will not hurt us. Then 20 minutes passed and I was still waiting. So I walked up to the cashier to ask about the status of our order and was told that they STILL have not started on it. When asked how long before it will be done, they said another 20 minutes because there is still a long line of people ordering. Yup, 20 more minutes of waiting! So basically, the whole time our order was totally ignored as your staff were too busy focusing on their walk-in customers. The whole advertisement on the website of "In a hurry? Order online for faster pick-up." is full FALSE advertising for you right there. Anyway, they finally got the order ready after almost an hour waiting. When the order was ready, they actually forgot to ask me to even pay for it. I could have just walked away, but I did not. Well, looking back, maybe I should have because after we got back to our offices, we realized that there were missing breads, missing bread bowl for the bread bowl order, not enough spoons to go around, and other order errors. Our sandwiches and soups were all labeled with only one name, so it was a guessing game trying to figure out everybody's orders. It was just plain unacceptable. We paid almost $100 on food that were partly missing, and we felt totally cheated of our time and money. I understand the need to serve the people waiting in line and could also give the benefit of the doubt that you were short on staff. But it sure does not give you the excuse to ignore your to-go customers (who placed orders even before your store was open for business). It may seem like you are just ignoring one person waiting, but really you are ignoring 10 others who are waiting back in their offices. And because of that, you just lost the trust and loyalty of 10 customers, their coworkers, families and friends. Until you can get your act and your staff better trained in prioritizing orders and owning up to their mistakes, there will be no more Zoup for us, and will definitely tell others to stay clear.

The staff is so friendly! They even told me a way to request a soup since it wasn't in their recipe book. It's reasonably priced and the lobster bisque was amazing! They even offer samples of the soup. I was quite pleased with the soup but my sandwich was just a basic sandwich. It has become a favorite of mine!

We have been to Zoup a few times. The food has been decent and the customer service was acceptable (not as friendly as other people experienced) until our most recent visit. We had come in one afternoon after a sports team, so we knew we would be waiting a while. But, after being in the restaurant for 45 minutes, our food wasn't even being prepared yet and we weren't really hungry anymore so we politely asked for our money back. However, the shift leader Austin decided he needed to pick a fight with us and make an embarrassing scene over this simple and civil request. So we don't go here anymore and we don't miss it.
